Carol McManus considers herself a ‘recovering corporate executive.’ Her career included a wide range of experience in business operations, franchise servicing, training, and marketing. When the recession hit, she left that world to start her own coaching and consulting business and within two years, became known known as America’s LinkedIn Lady. Her rise to fame under that brand stemmed from her own successful use of social media in launching her new business in 2008.

Today, Carol is the CEO of CKC Global Media, a branding and marketing company that helps businesses, entrepreneurs, speakers and authors reach new markets using innovative methods. Her customized approach guides clients in becoming successful in achieving their unique business goals.

Carol, her husband Kevin and their Golden Retriever, Cooper, moved to Hawley in 2016. She runs two writers’ groups in Hawley and Honesdale, teaches a Fiction Writers Workshop, co-chairs the Milford Readers and Writers Festival, and serves as the Chairman of the DHP Marketing committee.
